Who We Are

Our parish began as the founding pastor of Vineyard Christian Fellowship, led the evangelical Protestant congregation to convert to the Eastern Orthodox Faith. St. Stephen Antiochian Orthodox Church was founded on All Saints Sunday, in June of 1993, as the Santa Clara Orthodox Mission and the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of San Jose joined together to form one Orthodox parish. Our parish is comprised primarily of converts to the Eastern Orthodox Church. All of our services are in English. Classes on the Orthodox Faith are held on a semi-regular basis. We invite you to come and join us at any of our services. Service times may be found on the Services page.
